Hole in the Wall Donuts

Finally a decent donut in New Paltz. Having visited their previous location in Kingston, I had unfair expectations. Those unfair expectations were met. Surprisingly, there was a pretty wide variety of options available even during this soft open, but I guess I should've expected that after a few years of them crafting a lot of artful options. It should be noted that this location is a bit smaller than the previous location and there's no indoor seating. That likely means donut options will sell out sooner, so I'd suggest trying to come early. As for the donuts themselves, they're all well baked, well thought out recipes. Delicious! I've done 2 bulk orders in the last 2 months and have been so happy with everything. The most recent order was custom for my kid's Spiderman themed birthday party and I was blown away by how great the donuts looked (and tasted!).

A variety of donuts were purchased and NONE were fresh. All tasted at least a day old and were inedible. There is an obvious difference both in taste and texture of a fresh donut vs a day old donut. Disappointed and will not return.

Really sweet woman that served us on the food truck, the donuts were great, they were fresh. The strawberry matcha and mint lemonade was also really good. I would highly recommend them if you’re stopping by the restaurant or the truck. It’s definitely worth stopping.

Super delicious creative donuts made by super creative people. The people might be delicious too, but I don’t bite friends. But seriously, I have an addiction to the Boston creme donuts and the crème burlee is also totally dreamy. The canolli donut filling brings tears of joy to my eyes. Life is too short. Eat the best donuts!
