Holden House 1902 Bed & Breakfast Inn

Holden House is a delight! I have stayed there 4 times now, and it feels like coming home. The suites are beautifully decorated and comfortable. And the breakfasts are delicious! If you are in the stunning Colorado Springs area, make this conveniently located B&B your go-to lodging for exploring Garden of the Gods and other natural wonders.

My mom and I visited for a special mother/daughter trip and this was our first experience with a bed and breakfast. We were blown away by the historical property and the top notch service. Heather and Kory were so pleasant to talk to and quick to get us anything we needed. We stayed in the Pikes Peak Suite in the Rose Victorian House and we loved how spacious it was. Very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and filling both mornings, and we enjoyed getting to chat with other guests. The neighborhood felt safe and we appreciated the onsite parking in the back. We’d love to visit again and highly recommend!

We stayed in the second floor Cripple Creek Suite in this delightful turn of the century home, and had a wonderful experience during our three day stay. Our hostesses were warmly attentive to our every need. An elegantly served and delicious full breakfast, snacks, beverages, and a wine hour were offered. Don't let the Victorian charm of the suite fool you! This spacious room had absolutely everything one could need, from lots of capacity for recharging devices, to great lighting throughout, to deep soaking tub, to ample storage including a large walk-in closet with mini-fridge. We cannot recommend Holden House too highly, and would plan on booking here for future visits to Colorado Springs!

What a delightful relaxing experience here! The staff we met on our two night stay were like welcoming family members. Over the top attention to the individual guests' needs. The breakfast was incredible, and their gluten-free muffins for me were the BEST - which is a bit hard to do! I didn't realize what a nationally renowned B & B this is! The antique filled guest areas and our spacious room were even more luxurious than the website pictures could do justice to. All the amenities were there, including both a huge tub and a separate shower. Located in a quiet neighborhood near major attractions, we thoroughly enjoyed the evening's nightly hors d'deuvres and wine as we sat in the front porches' rocking chairs watching a rain storm roll through town. I hardly know where to start. The whole experience was a joy from beginning to end (except for the end part - we hated to leave!). We stayed four nights in the "Aspen" suite - that's the one with the "stars" overhead and the two-person tub (and it really was). We were fortunate to be there on Halloween, so got to watch Heather share with the trick-or-treaters. ||Breakfast was different each day, and each of the ladies that served us (Heather, Kory, and Gabi - love ya all!) went out of their way to consider our individual tastes and allergies. They made cinnamon muffins, which my cinnamon-loving wife could not get enough of, and she fell in love with the decaf ice tea (so much better than what I make her, apparently). And be sure to ask for Kory's peanut-butter rounds if you don't see them.
