Hogie Joe's Sports Grill

Been here a few times for lunch and have never been disappointed! The vibe is very laid back. It is a bar, but more of a restaurant style bar. The menu has a LOT of variations. There is something for everyone here. If you can't find something you like on this menu, there is definitely a problem. So far we have tried the Ruben Sandwhich, multiple burger variations, loaded nachos, chicken fingers, etc. Everything we have had has been exceptionally good, hot, made to order and tastes of good quality. Hoagie Joe's is definitely on my favorites list for lunch. If you are looking for something good in Thomson, GA, something different and something for everyone in your crew, this is most definitely the place. You will not be disappointed. 10 stars!!

I LOVE this place!!! We are camping at Mistletoe state park and found this absolute gem!! The staff, especially Tori are all extremely friendly and fun and on top of everything. The menu is amazing and the food does not disappoint ever!! The three of us have been here twice and tried different things and everything has been delicious. They have a hibiscus gin fizz that is amazing and I asked if they could make me a margarita with the hibiscus syrup (which is homemade) and they did… let me tell you, it’s to die for!!! We will be coming back every time we camp in the area!!! The laid back atmosphere and great conversation is worth it by itself and everything else is icing on the cake. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE this place!!! This is probably my third time coming here. Don’t be like me at first and presume it’s just a sandwich spot. This place “got it going on!” The ambience will draw you in! I get B52 vibes every time I dine here. The food is delicious and drinks will definitely do you justice. One thing that stands out about this establishment is the women’s bathroom. It’s a must see…definitely giving powder room vibes. If you ever dine here be sure to check out the women’s rest room for yourself. The service is excellent. The server’s are constantly checking on you, asking if everything is good or if you need anything. They will go out of their way to accommodate a drink request if it’s not on the menu. If you ask me, this is the best sports bar in the CSRA. Everything was cooked to perfection, the space was welcoming, and the employees were friendly and attentive. Review of food items: 1) corn nuggets: cooked to perfection. I appreciated that they weren’t dried out 2) fried dill pickles: I liked that they were spears and not chips 3) Ranch: home made and delicious 4) Club Sandwich: everything was cooked to perfection and assembled extremely well. Whoever prepared this gets an A++. 5) grilled cheese burger: get it! It’s so delicious. The only thing I’d change about this burger is that I would make the patty thinner so you can make it larger. The burger patty to grilled cheese ratio was off. If the patty was squared that would be the cherry on top. Will be back.
