Hocker's Family Restaurant

The food was delicious. It came out hot and very generous portions. I got the fried chicken and it was so good and cooked perfectly! My aunt got the salmon sandwich and she loved it. The service was great. The prices are very reasonable I’ll definitely be back.

The family style restaurant is very large and really loud. Waitstaff were friendly and helpful. The burger was good sized and the fries were very good. Crabcake was very good (the typical Hockers recipe) and came with large serving of tasty mashed potatoes. Very basic beer/wine list. Fun ice cream counter too!

Had Cheddar Burger (cooked medium) that came with lettuce, tomato and a spear of pickle.. Added sautéed onion, mayo and side of sweet potato tater tots. Also had mac-n-cheese. Burger perfectly done and BIG! Lots of cheese to cover the whole burger. Tots were tasty. Mac-n-cheese was a big portion and delish. Service was quick. It wasn't crowded (day after Thanksgiving). Prices reasonable. Too full to visit the ice cream parlor. Definitely recommend!

My mom and I met here for a New Year’s Day lunch together and it was delicious as always. I’m a local but my mom isn’t and it was her first time coming here. We had the crab and corn chowder for an appetizer which was absolutely chock full of huge pieces of crab meat- and no shells! The broth was absolutely delicious and perfectly seasoned. For our meals I had the pulled pork sliders and she had the crab cake sandwich. My pork sliders were so delicious that my mom ordered some to-go to take home to my dad in Clayton! She absolutely loved her crab cake sandwich as well. The crab cake was full of real crab meat and not a ton of filler and peppers like most other restaurants. 7 pm on a Thursday dinner with my family. Immediate seating, Very clean, nice staff and large food portions. Best local restaurant around.
