Both my wife and I have been using Hocheiser CPA for our business and personal taxes for the past few years and we have been very pleased with their services. Steve has always been available to discuss any questions we have, Paula has been a huge help facilitating our returns and documentation, along with Alex who does a great job handling our payroll. I would highly not recommend using Steve Hocheiser's practice. My wife and I were clients of Steve for several years until we were audited and fined by the IRS. While both my wife and I have very standard tax filings (we both have a W-2), Steve's practice made an error by trying to claim our college/graduate classes as a tax deduction. Rectifying this issue took months and ultimately accrued more fines as a result. Although Steve assured us that he would pay the costs associated with this fine (see screenshot for reference), he never did and simply stopped responding to our emails. Steve - if you're reading this, please take better care of your clients.
