Hocco in Paramus is a fantastic spot for Indian cuisine! The place is very clean and new, with a welcoming atmosphere. We ordered the Amritsari chole and the signature chole with poori, and both were absolutely delicious—rich, comforting, and perfectly cooked. The salmon tikka was another standout: incredibly flavorful with just the right balance of herbs and spices. To top it all off, the warm brownie with ice cream was amazingly good and the perfect ending to the meal. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great Indian food in the area!

REAL TANDOOR COOKING 🔥 Attached photos are garlic naan, butter chicken, and chicken tikka masala with fresh basmati rice. The naan is crisp, chewy, and fresh, and the chicken is juicy with that real tandoor flavor. Not pictured: the mango lassi (delicious sweet treat), tandoor lamb chops, Chicken 65, and Malai Paneer — all amazing and perfect to take home. F Everything is fresh and balanced with just the right amount of spice. Prices are better than anywhere for this quality, and the service is quick but never rushed. You can grab food to go or hang out with a bottle of wine and enjoy. The owners are warm, hardworking, and genuinely love sharing their food and culture. They make you feel welcome and help you discover something new. Paramus is lucky to have this place. I stop in every t

Excellent garlic naan and paneer. I got the saagwala with paneer and tikka masala with lamb, along with garlic naan. The garlic naan was thin, buttery, crispy with a chew, and had a good char—just how I like it. The paneer had a good texture and the saagwala was smooth with good flavor. I am more accustomed to palak paneer or saag paneer at other places where the sauce isn’t as blended, but this one grew on me eventually. The tikka masala with lamb was good, but the sauce was not as smooth as I imagined. It also had pieces of star anise that were not pleasant to bite into. Still overall, a very good experience.

While visiting nearby restaurants, we saw this new place that opened recently. Modern cozy inside. The menu has a lot of the popular Indian dishes. Most of the dishes had some sort of spice, very limited non spicy options. They pre make the base sauce so the spice level is not adjustable. We ordered a lot of the dishes from the menu starting with corn chaat and samosa. Corn chaat didn’t really have corn, it was more like corn flakes with tomatoes and onions. The dish was blend, it needed some dressing sauce or yogurt on top to make it tastier. Samosa had good potato fillings, came with green and tamarind chutneys. For entree we got the chicken tikka masala, chicken korma with rice, naan and garlic naan with Amul cheese. Tikka masala was super delicious, thick spicy sauce. I was so glad t

Fresh, flavorful Indian food from a trusted favorite! I grew up eating Hocco back home, so seeing them open in NJ was such a win. The new Paramus spot is bright, clean, and easy—self-serve setup, quick service, no fuss. We tried the Pav Bhaji, Smoked Paneer Tikka, Butter Chicken with Naan, plus Chhaas and Nimbu Pani. Everything hit the spot - especially the Tender paneer tikka & the spicy pav bhaji. The Nimbu Pani was just okay, but that’s a small miss in an otherwise excellent meal. Great quality, neat packaging, and authentic flavors. Definitely my new go-to when the Indian food craving hits.
