Hobak Korean BBQ

If you’re in Vegas and need your Korean BBQ fix this is the spot. This place is not big and always crowded, but the food is worth the wait. All the meat was marinated well and cooked by the workers to perfection. The steamed eggs were silky and delicious. The seafood pancake was amazing best I had in a while. The outer edges were crunchy and center chewy with loots of shrimp. The soft beef tofu stew warmed our belly’s on this cold windy evening. Will visit each and every time we in town. It gets Smokey with all the wonderful bbq smells. We ask if the meal came with white rice and or waiter told us we have to order it but most people don’t since the amount of food you get is more then enough to get you full. We had such a great time with the wonderful helpful staff and the great hospitality from the owner of the awesome family Korean BBQ place! We had our Valentine’s dinner at HOBAK. The food was decent, and the servers were genuinely kind and pleasant. Unfortunately, the rest of the night was a disaster. If you’re visiting Las Vegas—especially if you’re driving a rental car—please be extremely careful. While we were inside, multiple cars were broken into, including ours. Another table’s guests were hit too; I lost my entire backpack, and they lost everything, including a passport. The only warning we saw was a small sign near the entrance saying, “DO NOT LEAVE ANY VALUABLES IN THE CAR.” What’s most upsetting is that after it happened, we were told by multiple people (including at the rental car counter at the airport) that this location is known for break-ins and that visitors and rental cars are often targeted. Best Korean BBQ we’ve ever had. My partner and I decided to stop by this place for some Korean bbq and it did not disappoint. We got the small family combo 1 which had brisket, pork belly, skirt steak and pork ribs. the menu indicated that it was good for 2 people but could have easily fed 4 adults. We ended up only getting through the first two meats and had to pack the rest to go! The meats were really fresh and they gave you an abundance of side dishes, including rice balls, soybean soup, and steamed egg, all of which were delicious! The meal also came with ice cream at the end! The servers were amazing as well. This was the highlight of our trip, and will definitely be back when we’re in town!
