Hitching Post Kellogg - World's Best Fried Chicken

Have passed it 100 times on Kellogg and had no idea the menu was so extensive. Got the 2 piece Fried chicken deal with potatoes and Cole slaw. The chicken was delicious, had plenty of meat on it and was savory and crunchy. The Cole slaw was not overly wet which always is nice, very flavorful and fresh. The potato's had plenty of gravy. Some of the best fried chicken I've had, and will be happy to go back to explore more options on the menu.

Very interesting place. It feels old. The food was well prepared and delicious. There's not a lot of seating. You order at the counter and they bring it out. The prices are good. The chicken breading isn't like everywhere else. I'll probably stop back.

I have lived in Cincinnati 8 years now and have driven by this place a million times and always wondered. Do they have the best fried chicken? They advertise it and now since I’ve stopped in. I know why!!! This place has the best chicken I have ever had. The juiciest breast I’ve ever eaten. I also let the lady at the front know it was our first time there, I asked for recommendations. She instantly mentioned the FRIED CORN ON THE COB!! I stood back at first and replied a Fried whaaa? And let me tell you. I will never eat corn that isn’t fried ever again. It stole the show honestly. It’s been a full 24 hours since enjoying the fried corn and I’ve told atleast ten people in person. 18 people in texts and even called my Dad and Grandma up in Dayton Ohio about it! Horrible experience. Slow as can be. Ordered a dozen wings and 2 legs and it took them 20 minutes!!! I was told it would take 13 minutes to cook FYI. Lady at the register, who was miserable and no fun to talk to, failed to mentioned the wings are full-size. Absolute garbage of an experience. Their fried chicken is overrated for all the hype.

Pretty dang good food here every time! Go here often for lunch. Good food at a good price. Pictured below is the chicken fried chicken meal I got this past time.
