Typically, I write a review when everything is really good however I took a photo and I had a coupon so it encouraged me to try. It's a new spot. It's close to home. The food was good. Nothing to raise your eyebrows. The rice was better than the protein or the sauce, which was strange. Service and the people at the front were welcoming ish.. the lady on the phone seemed like she didn't wanna put in the order to see what the price to save her time but I insisted that she should so I could see if the discount was worth it. At the end of the day the discount was worth it. I got to lunch specials, which is why there was no naan bread. It was $35 . I'm probably not gonna go back. Still gave them a pretty good score cause I'm a nice guy, but you can decide based on what I said. I'm not the onl
If you’re craving the authentic, flavorful, and perfectly balanced Indian food in Pacific Beach, look no further than Himalayan Spice and Savor. This new spot isn’t just good, it’s hands-down THE best Indian restaurant in Pacific Beach. Trust me. I’ve tried every single spot and this one blows them away. Every dish bursts with flavor, and the menu offers both amazing classics and unique specialties that I constantly find myself craving. The Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken are spot-on: creamy, rich, and perfectly spiced. A more unique favorite of mine is the Coconut Chicken Curry. It’s a refreshing twist that blends fragrant coconut with tender chicken in a curry sauce that smells so good that I wanna bathe in it haha. They also have an extensive selection of Indian breads which a
Taste 2/5 Service pretty slow Ordered vegetarian food but taste was okay types. Garlic naan was thick. Yellow dal was okay.
Came here for lunch and it was delicious!! This will be the Indian restaurant that we return to over and over. The lunch special allowed us to try 2 different things with naan, rice, and a dessert! Still thinking about that coconut curry… I recommend 100%z
I had a disappointing experience here. I arrived around 8:15 pm, and the restaurant closes at 9:30 pm, yet from the moment I walked in I felt unwelcome. The person who greeted me was looking at his watch as he was talking to us and immediately gave off the impression that we should leave soon—mostly through body language rather than words. We were also rushed into placing our order. When the food arrived, it was extremely oily. Indian food should be rich in flavor, spices, and masalas—not overly dependent on oil. Unfortunately, the dishes lacked balance and depth because of how greasy they were. It's worth to note that even though we requested spicy level 8 out of 10, the food was not spicy at all and the waiter refused to give us green chillies or other chillies to make our food a bit mor
