Customer Reviews
We hoped for a better experience at this location. They were clearly busy when we arrived on a Sunday after church, but the rush died down during the hour that we waited for our pretty simple food. We didn't experience very great service and the food was pretty average and some things were overcooked. We also saw mousetraps surrounding the building as we left which we found concerning. If you have a lot of time to spare and would like average priced average food, it's a good place for you.
If you are adding to your "best tenderloin" spots in Indiana, you need to come here! The tenderloin is full of flavor, thick, and it's deep fried to perfection. Be prepared to share the giant tenderloin and bring your appetite! The giant size tenderloin could easily be split between 4 people. You can add whatever toppings also. We will definitely be coming back to try other things on the menu including homemade desserts!
The tenderloin sandwiches came out hot and as ordered but they were bland and needed the toppings for flavor. The tater tots also came out hot and fresh (no old oil taste) but there were so many it's as if to compensate for the small sandwich. Not one to waste food, the tots went home for breakfast. The side of ham and bean soup with cornbread was a different story! Excellent soup and yummy cornbread. If I return it will be for that. The waitress was friendly, checked on us a couple of times, but didn't offer refills on drinks and took forever to cash us out. It was not busy. If we're in the Brazil area again, we might return.
Chicken Philly sandwich was disappointing. The roll was like eating white bread. The "swiss" cheese was pretty awful. The chicken was pretty great. The onions and peppers were a little skimped on but added nicely. Fries were okay but were the coated variety, not my favorite. Waitress was great.
I haven't been here for anything other than taco tuesday, but seriously great spread for all things taco. They also have some great chili. I didn't even know there was a taco "dessert". It's not really a taco, but still amazing options and everything is good and fresh.
