I take my two toddlers here fairly often, and the children’s space is small and quaint and really a great resource! Fun things for them to play with and look at and a decent selection of books. Not to mention their fun activity kits you can checkout.

This library has quite a small selection of books. But the kids area is fun, and story time activities are a great perk of the library. My kids love it. My major complaint is that multiple times (at least 3-4 times), we have returned books that were not checked in properly. So they would show up as still checked out, but when I searched the shelves I’d find the exact book and the library would say, oops, sorry. At one point our card was frozen for an overdue book - I had searched the whole house and it was nowhere to be found - so I called in to just pay the fee. Was told it was $22 to replace. Stars are for the cute puppet area and reading cubby. But we’re not impressed with the book selection.

I was surprised by all the cool things you can check out here. They have pre-packaged activity bags for toddlers that have books, toys, and puzzles with a common theme. They also have kindles with Battle of the Books for elementary school kids preloaded on them. They had a fun St Patrick’s Day activity going on today and they have lots of activities going on every month. Very clean and well kept and the librarians were extremely helpful and kind. We had a great experience!

My absolute favorite thing? Their late fee policy. Did you know YOU CAN DONATE BOOKS TO PAY OFF YOUR FINES!? So cool! I am notorious for late fees. A small town feel library. Don't expect a large library. The selection is quite limited. If you take away the kids section, I would say the whole library is a little larger than the size of a combined large living room and dining room area of a home. However, they just added a large children's area which is fantastic. They have puzzles and a great puppet theater area for the kids to play in. They also have a tiny little room that's perfect size for the kids to read books in the little kid chairs. They hold storytime once a week (it's the same every day, so don't go more than once a week). It is cozy and simple (just reading, no singing or anyt
