Hickok's Tavern

Was disappointed with this, hard rock venue so knew food would be pretty standard. Good location outside on the corner but was completely spoiled by the amount of flies kicking about from open bin/ rubbish in the area. Service was ok just felt we were an inconvinience so didnt hang about. Also would have had more to drink but kept getting ignored for refils.

Great historic hotel right on Main Street. We got lucky with a room that faced the Main Street, it was fantastic for people watching on Halloween. Super comfortable and absolutely clean. Quirky staircases that were historic and interesting. Jet tub that I didn’t use but wish I had. Excellent service, we left something behind and they sent email. Super place and location! New favorite hotel. Deadwood never disappoints!

Our 45-minute drive to Deadwood was specifically for the Hard Rock and the parade, envisioning a classic Hard Rock Cafe meal. Seating was a major hurdle. We were limited to bar stools indoors or high-top tables outside. With a small, already grumpy child, the absence of booster seats was a significant problem; we had to rig a makeshift solution to keep him from falling off onto the pavement. The oppressive 90+ degree heat outdoors only added to our discomfort. The food, consisting of burgers and pizza, was okay. Drinks were another story; the iced tea tasted truly awful, making us wonder if the water itself was undrinkable. Service was a consistent frustration. We faced a long wait just to be seated, standing around confused as staff repeatedly told us to wait for a hostess who turned ou

We went into this establishment and had a few drinks and pizza, so I can't say anything about the rooms. Excellent service and pizza was good. I did not however win any money...... lol

We stopped there, it was very busy because of some live music going on and while I can understand the busy time period the wait staff seemed absolutely uninterested in trying to serve or being of any help. Would not consider stopping back.
