HEX Superette

Hex Ferments makes incredible kombucha and serves equally delicious healthy fresh food in their restaurant. We discovered their kombucha at a farmers market in Washington, DC and liked it enough to make another trip from NYC to Baltimore, so we could try all the flavors. They are serving “real” kombucha - complete with all-natural effervescence - and every flavor truly impressed us. They range from superfood-forward classics like ginger and turmeric to fun seasonals like smoked pineapple to mind-blowing botanical mashups like hibiscus/mint/linden flower. We just wanted to take a moment to thank HEX Superette from the bottom of our hearts for all the effort they put into helping us plan and organize our baby shower in January. It was absolutely perfect! Please extend our deepest thanks to the entire front and back of house team at HEX. Every detail was seamless, and the food was beyond delicious. We feel so lucky to have such a wonderful gem in our neighborhood, and we were thrilled to introduce it to friends and family who had never been before. It made the celebration even more special that they all loved the Superette! Our hearts are full as we prepare to welcome our baby. Your work made the shower even more meaningful, and we are truly grateful for all that you did to make the day so memorable. Thank you again for everything!

HEX Superette is an absolute gem. Visit them immediately! The bar is so pretty & the market is the best selection of food & local goods. I love bringing friends for drinks or dinner- it’s just such a relaxing & fun vibe. It’s also a great spot during the day to work if you need a get away spot. The food is outstanding! I’m absolutely obsessed with the Kimchi Enchiladas (beef or mushroom- they’re both so good), the Grazing Board, and the Flight to Portugal (featuring the best tinned fish!) The cocktails are some of my favorite in Baltimore!! Plus I love the Brine Back shot- so fun. The outdoor patio area is also so great- our dog loved it & it makes for the perfect chill Sunday lunch spot. I recommend HEX for all of the things- it’s seriously amazing!!💜

Such an amazing evening with some friends. Delicious and creative food. Fantastic drinks. Dave was such an attentive and thorough server / bar manager. Loved the market too and bought some great presents / food for the family. Will definitely be back. Super cool place!

This place is amazing! I feel so good every time I eat here. Their food is awesome, portion size is good, and everything is always fresh. I love how they make it fun by having daily specials and seasonal items. The owner and staff are so kind and generous. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. Not to mention, they play great music!
