Herb's Fish Place

Okay, I was stumped on how to rate the atmosphere, but decided to give it a 5 because it is what it is. It's a rural fish place, not a fancy upscale city restaurant. The food came out hot and delicious. The hush puppies are light on the inside and crispy on the outside. This was our first visit, but it won't be our last! We are glad to find this hidden gem.

Small comfortable Family owned restaurant serving delicious seafood cooked perfectly. Just the right amount of country theme Decoration, very nice overlook view from parking lot behind restaurant.

The food was not worth the 30 minutes it took me to get to this place. And the wait was over an hour. Shrimp boat in Milledgeville is way better than this.. And I paid 40 dollars for two platters and it wasn’t worth it. And coming into and leaving was horrible

I’ve been coming here my whole life. It’s reputation speaks for itself. The best hush puppies I have had in my life.

Best, locally owned, restaurant in the area. Go early cause it fills up fast at dinner time. They only take cash or checks, so leave your plastic in your purse. We've gone twice now and it is like a family atmosphere. Don't be surprised if the folks at the next table strike up a conversation or participate in yours! It is awesome!!! Great people. Looking forward to family and friends visiting so we can take them too!
