Henry's Donuts

I haven’t reviewed in so long, I forgot to take a picture!! I am a maple bar nut, I love maple bars, I CRAVE maple bars. I’ve had maple bars in every place I’ve visited in Oregon, Washington and maybe even Idaho. I found out about 10 years ago that maple bars are/ were unique to the Pacific Northwest!! I was gobsmacked!! How do people survive without the delicacy of MAPLE BARS! Right?! I have now as of yesterday experienced HENRYS DONUTS in ROSEBURG, OREGON. I say this with everything I am, THESE WERE A RELIGIOUS EXPERIENCE OF MASTERPIECE. Hands down the best freaking maple bars that have ever been cooked…made…created. A dozen of assorted donuts was 18.00. It may seem like a lot in smaller communities but if they were on PDX, they’d be sold out in minutes. As much as I love the VooDoo Don

I’ve eaten a lot of donuts and I have a lot of opinions on donuts and these were some of the best donuts I’ve had. Soft, fluffy, delicate and delicious. 10/10 recommend

I'm traveling from Illinois, and stopped to get a sugar rush because I'm a little tired. This is a tiny place, but set up nicely. There are a few tables and chairs to sit and relax. There isn't a huge donut selection, but what there is, is divine.... I ordered 2 donuts, a buttermilk with chocolate iced, and a maple bar. The wonderful lady behind the counter was very friendly and very helpful. I was back in my car when I took that first bite and all I can say is WOW....these are the lightest, melt in your mouth donuts I've ever had. Henry's is well worth the stop if you love a good donut.

Glazed- very good. Solid glazed. 9/10 Apple fritter- no. Absolutely not. Threw away Chocolate glazed cake donut- really good. Not as moist as I like but great chocolate and good cake donut. Crumb cinnamon roll - good crumb,good cinnamon roll. Would get again Glazed old fashioned- really good old fashioned! Top 3 Glazed cronut- quite good. Maybe slightly over fried? Good chewy texture

Good doughnuts but they never have anything in stock it seems. I’m not sure if you have to show up five minutes after they open but I never get the doughnuts I want.
