Henry County Historical Society Museum

I delivered some antique furniture coming from texas to them, and the lady inside was amazing person to talk to. A lot of beautiful items in the museum.

I volunteered here. It is an amazing place. A lot of detail, a lot of stories. So many things to learn. One of our main attractions is our Thaddeus Coffin Desk. It is beautiful and magnificent, as is the whole museum! Call in and book an appointment for one of us give you a tour! It is so worth your time! Believe me! -Rachel Willis

This combination historical society and Museum contains far more than I expected when seeing it from outside! There are three floors with rooms full of exhibits, in two buildings. Helpful volunteers answered questions, and things we enjoyed included an inlaid desk of amazing detail, two antique automobiles, recreated barber shop, pioneer kitchen, and much, much more! Admission only $3. Recommended.

Came for genealogical research - the staff were very friendly and INCREDIBLY helpful. Cannot reccomend them enough. We also toured the museum, which was also very well done and impressive! Worth the visit!

Went during open business hours. 2pm on Thursday, March 14th. Sign said closed, doors locked. Car parked out back. So, who knows how it is. Can't get in.
