The waitress was really great and friendly. The restaurant was clean and well maintained, with a pleasant atmosphere. The Calamari was by far the toughest, worst we had ever TRIED to eat. Both my brother and I sent ours back. I opted to get nothing else, but he got the crab dip which tasted bad. A very strong flavor which usually indicates a warning for bad seafood. We are both big seafood eaters so we have had our share of both items. So no, it’s not just us. Now for the good, the shrimp n grits were the bomb. Full of creamy goodness and loaded with meat. We expected a small portion and were shocked by the size. Neither of us could eat the entire thing. Super tasty. My wife had a small Stromboli and it’s a good thing too, because even the small was huge. She said hers was also very good.

Service was great! Very friendly and welcoming, the restaurant is great if you want to have a quiet business lunch or family gathering it works well. The food was well seasoned and cooked right. Even the prices are really good. I tried the angus burger, it was medium the way I like it, a bit greasy but their fries are fire. It’s also huge so had to take half of it home. The liver and onions, cooked to perfection and they even put the gravy in the side. Lots of onions that were perfectly cooked. Huge portion, so we took half of that to go. We tried the crab dip, with actual crab in it and I thought it was too salty but fine. I’ll def be going back to try their spicy chicken.

Now just to be fair…I eat here at least 3 times a week and yesterday I even came in and bought a $50 gift card because that’s how fond I am of this place. Fast forward today…I don’t know what happened the vibe was off from the moment I arrived and waited to be seated. After being overlooked, I was seated and ordered the same thing I order every day. AWFUL!!’n Beggies were cold, soggy and overcooked. Salmon dry…They did not tell me they were out of two items until after my plate was delivered. It may be time for a break.

Our first time here and man was the food delicious! Generous portion of lasagna and it was so good. The gyro and pasta salad was great. Melissa was our server and she was very attentive and nice. If you haven’t tried George’s you’re missing out.

Our first time here and was so disappointed after all the good reviews. My beef tips had absolutely no flavor so I had them switch to the hamburger steak with baked potato and side salad. When the steak came out, I was surprised to find my butter and sour cream was just thrown on my plate and the baked potato was old. Gravy was on it all. The manager was awesome about it all. When I tried to explain the issue to the waitress and offer her a suggestion to prevent this, she could have cared less. She tried to justify the condiments in gravy. Not again.
