Perry Memorial Library

Our favorite library ever. Excellent for any age range. The programs range from reading time for babies up to internet safety for senior citizens. My family is here at least twice a week as we're all avid readers. Nothing but good things to say about this gem of a library. **As for the recent negative reviews. You visited during a children's program so the downstairs can get louder than expected at that time. Upstairs is always quiet. Library staff also can not control if a homeless person decides to seek shelter from the elements in a PUBLIC space during the day. They aren't doing anything wrong, that reviewer should just be grateful that they aren't in that position. Keep being great Perry.

Vance Counties Leslie Perry Library is a great place to visit and plan a field trip for young children. There’s a lot for children to experience and learn there. Our children absolute love it.

Horrible staff, loud children running all over the place. Computers that barely work, and to make it even worse it's so unsanitary. Homeless people sleeping inside and smoking on the outside.

First time being to this library, it was much bigger than I expected. Mrs. Monica, Mr. Tom, and Mrs. Beth were very helpful getting me started with everything I needed. What a tiny gem.

We love story time on Thursdays! It's very interactive and my daughter always leaves ready for a nap :) The leader of story time is very sweet and does a good job of keeping all of the kiddos focused on the activities. The library is a beautiful and clean facility with helpful staff. There are many community resources here.
