Hen House Cafe

Husband had to ask for clean fork then we ordered and be asked for home fries with breakfast and got hasbrowns. I asked for extra crispy hash browns and they were total opposite. Probably want return. We are new to area and trying out new places to become our favorite.

Went there with my wife recently. The prices were reasonable, food tasted good (i got the ham & cheese omelette and she got the ny food) i wish i got to finish those tater totes they were so good. Tiffany was such a good waitress, she was attentive and very sweet. She made us feel welcomed, when we come back to Inverness this is a place we will come back to

Super friendly and polite staff. That being said, my waitress never made eye contact with me, my water was empty for 1/2 of my meal until a different waitress noticed and asked if I wanted more, where my waitress had walked past several times and after finishing, sat there for 3-5 min just waiting for my check. I ordered their eggs Benedict with crispy hash browns, the eggs were cooked perfectly, the sauce was broken and not creamy and the hash browns, some bites were crispy. Will try it again as it was only my first visit.

Cute little local place to stop in and eat if your in town or just passing by. Food was decent and service was fine. I just personally wouldn't recommend the broccoli & Cheddar soup but everything else we tried was decent.

This cafe has been hit or miss lately. We waited for a very long time for food and service last week, the place was very busy which is a good sign, but we won’t bee returning anytime soon. Food was good, they often will take requests. We’ve had some friendly servers and some that treat us like we are an inconvenience.
