Helen Back Pizza CVW

This is an excellent restaurant that features indoor and space for outdoor dining. It has a full-service bar for those of age. It is handicap friendly but has limited parking. It is veteran friendly with Monday specials for Veterans. The Cuban sandwich I had was above excellent. The pizza is tasty and filling. Stop in for lunch and dinner or order delivery from Uber Eats.

Visited Helen Back Pizza on Thursday, October 9, 2025 around 8 PM with my wife and another couple for our first visit. Unfortunately, the night started off rough — we stood at the front counter for about 15 minutes with no one helping us. Several employees said the cashier would be “right back,” but she never returned. Eventually, we were told that no one there knew how to use the kiosk system, which was confusing to hear. We were finally told we could seat ourselves in the bar area, where one hardworking bartender seemed to be doing it all. She was running around non-stop while other employees looked unsure of what to do. Once we finally got our orders in, things improved. My wife and our friend got the $5 endless mimosas (Thursday special). We ordered the 16-inch Chicken Bacon Ranch Pi

Absolutely Delicious pizza. The best pizza in the panhandle. It is SO full of flavor and the texture is addicting. We ordered the Chris Special (talk with Chris if you can. He’s a super cool guy), the veggie pizza, and BBQ chicken pizza. (It’s called something else… I can’t remember) They were ALL packed with flavor. I’m already looking forward to eating the leftovers hahaha 😂 (photo isn’t the best… I’m no photographer haha)

Great place with a huge selection, great food and awesome service. We would definitely come again.

Stopped in for dinner while passing through, can’t say enough good things about this place, the staff and the pizza. Top notch. I ordered this custom pizza I’m calling “The Flameout” tying it into the aviation community here. Pepperoni, sausage, smoked bacon, jalapeños, mushrooms, and green peppers on a cauliflower crust (5 ⭐️). Get the cauliflower crust well done, that’s what Debbie (bartender) advised and she was right!
