Heinen's Grocery Store

I like to shop locally owned stores and support local farmers / food makers. Heinen's is one of my stops for fresh produce and meats along with Ohio produced foods. The employees are always thoughtful and willing to help. I appreciate their produce section as it is the freshest (without going directly to the farmer) that I have found. The weekly sales help with rising costs of food so I would say I stock up on things when they are on sale. The store is always clean and the employees promptly working to restock.

Great relaxed positive vibes and seems like all the workers get along. Feels like an elevated shopping experience. Free samples sometimes. I always get stuff from their fresh foods section, it’s healthier delicious stuff you can take home and heat up or eat cold. Great “elevated” salad bar, although today there was barely any spinach left and it looked old. I wish they had arugula in their salad bar. Everything there feels like good quality. Delicious soup.

First time at this Heinen's. The options were great - found exactly what I was looking for, the staff were extremely helpful. The prices were reasonable. In one word impressed. It reminds me of some of the stores from the West Coast - Market of Choice, Trader Joe's as well as some store's in Europe. Came here right before Christmas - will come back to take more time seeing all they have to offer.

Oh, how I wish we had a Heinen’s Grocery Store in Ytown. We love Heinen’s & anytime we are visiting or staying nearby one, we have to go & shop. They are absolutely irresistible. This particular store in Rocky River is immaculately clean & had so many specialty items that I can only imagine that every Chef in town must shop here. We just loved the goodies we picked up from here. We love that you could fill your own bottles with their flavored olive oils. We did try those F-Bombs and they were delicious. Every Heinen store we have visited is over the top with the items that they offer. I will say this, it’s a higher end grocery store but well worth it!

Heinen's employees work hard to maintain the family grocery stores excellent reputation for highest quality produce, wide variety of offerings for every product category, wonderful fresh, healthy, and prepared foods, and well stocked and organized shelves. You'll pay more for many items compared to the major chain stores. But, Heinen's carries far more varieties and the most common items frequently rotate on sale.
