Wow! There are only 5 guest rooms in the whole place, 2 on the top floor and 3 on the next level. Full communal gourmet kitchen on each floor with bins in the fridge to separate your food from other rooms, but the food outside your bins is for anyone to share. You may find bananas and papayas on the counter from the property. You also have your own mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave in your room. Snorkeling gear, beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas...all provided at no charge. There is a laundry room to wash stuff if needed. Cute, friendly outdoor cats. On the property, goats, cows, turkeys, pigs, a variety of birds that come to the feeder...Just magical! We hardly saw the other guests. They were all thankfully quiet. Everything was clean and the woodwork just beautiful. We requeste

Fantastic home, gorgeous rennovation, beautiful craftsmanship, lovely details.|When you turn the corner and view this home up on the hill, you know you are in for a treat. The gate to the property sets the tone. The owners are craftsmen with an eye for detail. The wood on the interior floors and walls was all milled on property with local hardwoods, and the art is in the installation. The common kitchens (one on each floor) are gourmet, with all the appliance and cookware you could need. The outside lanais and barbeques bring out the desire to stay on property and enjoy the relaxing views of the ocean and farm animals.|We are so happy we found this accommodation. Close to Hilo, but feels like a world apart.|We stayed in the Turtle room, choose it if you can!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Rooms were spacious and common areas were comfortable and useful - nice to sit and enjoy the view. All rooms individually decorated with personality. Snorkel gear available to borrow was a nice touch. Spotlessly clean. A little bit out of town but worth it and no big deal if you have a car.

Staying here was one of the best and most serene lodging experiences I’ve ever had. Although it’s only about 7 minutes from all the shops and conveniences in Hilo, the farmstay feels worlds away—peaceful, magical, and surrounded by nature. The space itself is beautifully designed, spotless, and full of charm. The grounds are lush and well-kept, with friendly animals and stunning ocean views that make the property feel extra special. We also appreciated having access to snorkeling and beach gear (chairs, towels, masks, fins, etc.) One of the highlights was the true farm-to-table breakfast—fresh, flavorful, and easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The hosts were away but Josh, the property manager was communicative and attentive, making the whole stay effortless and relaxing. If you’re lo

This place is unique! Everything is exceptional. The construction….wow!!! Don’t hesitate, it’s amazing. Josh works so hard and does such a good job. Really enjoyed him. The location is perfect (just out of Hilo). The bed was very comfortable. There is a farmers market in town on Wednesday and Saturday. Lots of nice restaurants. Cost.U.Less is like a small Costco with a lot of Kirkland items and you don’t need a membership. There is also a Safeway. Two Sisters Kitchen has great moochi. You can see the sunrise and watch the cows, goats, birds and whales from the lanai. There also are pigs and turkeys. Josh kept us supplied with papaya and avocados. There are paintings and artwork all over. Sooo worth it! Thank you Josh!
