sirloin steak and eggs were cooked perfectly. the coffee was hot and smooth. great biscuits and gravy. our food was so good we got a 1/2 lb patty melt to go for tomorrow. our server ranee was fantastic! she was professional, friendly and kept the coffee flowing! we definitely will be back when passing through the area. (btw this mom and pop restaurant has been around for years we learned)

Sunday 11am place was packed. Took about 10min to get a table for 5 and we were pretty cramped on the booth. Service was good for a full house and we waited about 20min for food. All was very good. The only horrible thing about this time was this guy that sat next to us and took his shoes off and it was smelling REALLY bad. He kept looking at me and my sister in law even though both our husbands were sitting next to us. Before he left, he grabbed the rest of his bacon in his hands and left. I was very uncomfortable… not a problem of the restaurant, but be aware that these kind of experiences can happen.

I went here for a late lunch and they were not busy at all. We were seated right away and they took our order really quick. The cheese balls were a great appetizer. The salmon was a good sized piece and was extremely flavorful. It was seasoned well and cooked well. The mashed potatoes with the gravy were also good. I would recommend this restaurant for any meal of the day.

Met here for breakfast with friends, The service was great. Food was good. I ordered the chicken fried steak with hash browns and eggs. I would recommend this place, if you are looking for a quite little place with good food and great service.

One of the Midwest's best kept secrets! The food is excellent and worth the wait! Even with it being packed this morning, did not have to wait very long to be seated and served! The staff here is friendly and helpful, (Leslie on Saturday and Cheryl today went out of their way to make our dining experience on both days enjoyable). The price for the meals on both days very reasonable and budget friendly. Will definitely dine here again in the future!
