Susan was an absolute delight as a host. Her house is beautiful, the view out her front door is breathtaking! We were only there for a day but wanted to stay for a week. The tub was spectacular and the first floor bedroom stayed perfectly cool during this crazy heat wave. Saylor was a perfect gentleman as well!

I stayed at this B&B last year on business. I wanted something more home-like than a hotel. The home and surrounding farms were so lovely. It felt like I was way out in the country although the downtown shops and restaurants were just a short drive down the road. ||||I felt like the whole house was mine as there are only a couple of guest rooms. I curled up on the living room sofa and watched a movie from the video library.||||The owner was very friendly and accomodating. I had to be up early for meetings, and although I offered to skip breakfast or take a yogurt to go, she insisted on getting up early to feed me a hearty breakfast. Gorgeous 19th century farmhouse lovingly maintained by a friendly and welcoming host. My only issue was finding the place - Air BnB (how I booked) had the address as Grove rather than North Grove, and with no prominent sign or illuminated house numbers I had a little difficulty finding the house in the dark (also it was snowing). But once located, literally not a single thing I would change about the experience. I highly recommend booking a room if you're staying in Rutland!!

We just spent three days at a wonderful B&B outside of Rutland Vt. The scenery was outstanding, as was the atmosphere. Harvest Moon is an one hundred and eighty year old farmhouse that transports you to a different time. Susan was very helpful in assisting us in finding things of interest in the area. In addition, the farmers market in Rutland was one of the better ones we have seen. You also must take advantage of the farm across the road from Harvest Moon. They sell maple syrup for $43.00 a gallon, compared to the $60.00 to $70.00 we saw everywhere else. We would not hesitate to stay there again; in fact, we are looking forward to it.

Hands down, nothing more authentic in Vermont. Near everything in Killington, Rutland, MountainTop, and a 40-minute drive to Woodstock, Billings Farm, Quechee Gorge and the raptor preserve.
