Customer Reviews
The tomato soup is from another planet! Grill cheese was on point. Almond croissant could’ve used a little more filling, but still amazing. Bought a loaf of jalepeno cheddar bread, and it was delicious! I’ll def be back
The vision is there but your sourdough needs (kneads?) some work. Establishment is very clean, the woman at the register was helpful, and the location is good. However, I wouldn’t expect bread like this to come from a professional bakery. Hopefully an off day? I felt a little apprehensive about buying it due to its appearance because it was pale and dull. The scoring was very pretty, though. The crust does not have much resistance and does not crunch when squeezed. The crumb is very tight and there are no air pockets. Texture is more like a quick-rise yeast dough than sourdough. It is very dry and dense. I also cannot taste anything that would suggest this is fermented sourdough. It tastes like all-purpose flour and yeast, and I believe there is no salt in the dough. It is missing the tang
I like to find these hidden jewels when traveling with the family and this place did not disappoint. We enjoyed a couple of different items including the chocolate croissants, strawberry eclairs, cream puffs, peach danish and a chocolate chunk cookie. We also bought a fresh baguette and sourdough bread to take back with us. Everything was fresh and delicious. Place was clean and welcoming and the staff was very nice. When in Bay St. Louis you have got to try this place for sure!
Stopped by this bakery the other day and had a great experience. I grabbed a blueberry and cream cheese pastry, which was delicious, and the place has a nice, relaxed vibe. It’s on a cool street, too, which made it a perfect stop. Highly recommend.
Very delicious handmade pastries. Killer 10/10 almond croissant. 10 min walk from Amtrak station. Handmade bread loaves usually sell out before noon. Plan to get there early for the good stuff. Will be returning :)
