Harrison Township Public Library

Excellent library. Small but bountiful. Very intimate environment with great staff. Programming is unparalleled. Both adult and children’s programs are spectacular. Creative, thoughtful, and inclusive.

Everytime I come to this small library I hear the employees gossiping loudly, the only person who is friendly or cordial is an older gentleman with a mustache and glassses. I and my kid got a library card and did not get informed on what the library has to offer or anything. A woman came to get a library card behind and was given a full tour of the library and information about the town. I asked for helped and was cut off by a woman with a pony tail . She is very aggressive towards my child and myself and mean.! I don’t feel welcomed here and I pay you all my hard earned money to help me or my child and give us the services and respect we pay you for. Do better please . Nice and quiet. The staff are respectful and helpful. It's funny, three attempts at Michigan Works and I still do not have a presentable resume. And then after being welcomed and then practically chased out of the temp service, I accomplished next to nothing but one visit to this library in an hour later I have everything done and the main difference the Library didn't have employees making it harder and seemingly sabotaging my experience

Love the small town atmosphere of this little library, the staff are all so friendly and always willing to help.
