Harrington Public Library - Harrington, DE

The new library is so beautiful! I cannot believe I've waited this long to actually visit! I had no idea they had a little second hand store in there with fifty cent books! Highly recommend!

Beautiful large new building in a new location, good amount of parking. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. I would give this library five stars, however their hours are weird. Be sure to check their hours because sometimes they open at 11 AM and sometimes they close early as 4:45 PM.

The Nanticoke Indians of Millsboro were there and shared historical information as we know it, as well as some Nanticoke language. It was a wonderful experience. you for hosting

Place is pretty small as the area in which adults are suppose to relax and read consist of ONE table with 4 chairs as seen pictured. I must say however that if you have children it seems more so catered told them. There are 2 rooms with a decent selection for the youngest of kids offering a single PC and 1 smaller area for juveniles. They offer 8 computers that are crammed together in the adult/main area for use and a Meeting/Study area. The meeting/study area looked like a large open room or hall however I can not offer further input as they had a computer class low that took up most of the day. Staff seemed friendly and eager to help but I'll close with this. They DO NOT have any power outlets available for public use in any area but the Meeting/Study area and you guest it, no meeting ar

What’s the point of having this brand new library and it seems to be closed all the time? Today it’s closed for a staff development day… why not do it 8-11 then open for the public? As a sahm this is one of the very few places that I can take my kids that’s close by. They are closed more often than open seems like.
