Harold's on Arch

Saturday was my first time at Harold's. We celebrated my nephews first birthday. I was pleasantly surprised. They have a small but very attentive and kind staff. The atmosphere was nice and laid back. Soft music playing in a nice intimate setting for our party. I was reluctant with wanting to eat there only because I'm extremely picky about food. Especially southern food! The setup was buffet style with fried chicken wings, string beans, baked macaroni and cheese, fried fish, cornbread and more! My taste buds were jumping for joy. The food was absolutely Delicious. I look forward to going back sooner than later. Thank you Harold's for a great experience

Everyone at the family reunion loved the buffet style dinner made up of hot, fresh baked chicken, fried catfish, pork chops with gravy and rice, cheesy baked mac and cheese, collard greens, corn, candied yams, string beans, cornbread and soda/coffee. There was even enough food left over for about 10 out of 30 guests to take home doggie bags. And all for $20 per person not including desserts. Harold, his wife, and their waitress were friendly and attentive to our needs. We are all going back again soon it was that good. And yes, I ate my leftovers for dinner the next night and it still rocked my taste buds! :)

Ever since they went under new management, this restaurant has gone down hill. My fiancé put a catering order in from Tuesday 12/16 to pick up Thursday 12/18 at noon. He got there at 11:30am and the food wasn’t ready. The food still wasn’t ready at 1pm. PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE, WORSE SERVICE EVER. WISH THE ORIGINAL OWNERS WERE STILL IN CHARGE.

This was our first visit, but it absolutely won’t be the last. The food was phenomenal. Perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. You can tell that this is an establishment that cares about customer satisfaction. BRAVO………and much success to you all. I will definitely recommend this my family and friends.

Was craving soul food and went here I didn't get my usual which is smothered pork chops white rice and black eye peas I decided to try something different. I am usually pleased with my food today I got Mac n cheese chopped bbq mixed cabbage and greens with yams. My food was lacking flavor the Mac n cheese was hard n dry but the service was great as always it wasn't worth the $18.00
