Amazing spot in Findlay Market. So happy to have this here! The beet spread and havarti was amazing- in 10+ vegan years, I’ve never seen vegan havarti with dill.
Pro 🏈 Tip: When in Queen City pop by Harmony Plant Fare for the best no-meat Italian sub this OTer has ever seen. It’s just so good when it hits your lips! Just remember to request the paper wrap if you’ve got any metal detectors in your future. #WhoDey
What a gem this little deli in the Findlay Market is. This was my second time eating here (because the first was so good) and i’m even more blown away this time around. their sandwich of the day, recommended by the person working, was one of the best vegan sandwiches i’ve ever had. i believe a non vegan would’ve enjoyed it too, which i can’t say the same for many meat-alternative sandwiches i’ve had. as a 10+ year vegan, i very much wish that i lived closer to this place than the 4 hours that i do, but until then i’ll stop in whenever i can. if you are contemplating going and can’t tell by the menu or pictures, let this be your sign to just go - you won’t regret it.
Ate there for lunch. had buffalo (soy curl) sandwich and macaroni salad. My wife had the gyro. Both were excellent! The gyro was so filling that we shared it and saved 1/2 of my sandwich was later, which was still good after sitting in a cold car all afternoon! My only negative was it was sitting next door and across from meat butcher stalls. While waiting for my food, a got to look at a collection of pigs feet.
I’ve tried a vegan version of just about everything at this point but had never tried a vegan Italian sub (haven’t had a real one in probably 25 years). Not something that would normally ever be my first choice on a menu, but I decided to get it and it was amazing! 10/10 would recommend. Love love the Chubby Bunny desserts (Hot cocoa brownie was phenomenal). If I lived in Cincinnati I would come here all the time!
