This place is awesome. On my way down from Monadnock, a nice couple let me in on a cool restaurant in Peterboro, NH. Harlow’s Pub and Restaurant (with a very cool musicians stage by the way). I LOVE this place. They should get the golden toilet award. Restrooms are amazing. I had the French Dip. It was perfectly prepared and gracefully placed with utensils and a whole lot of happy. They go beyond “accessible”. The restaurant is adaptive friendly. The ramp appears to be a nice shallow grade, facilitating little effort. The tables are a perfect height, the bathrooms are absolutely amazing. Never seen anything like this in all my years of travel. You have to see this town. Peterboro is a lesser known, gem of New Hampshire. And if you do, go to Harlow’s. Tell em Jeff from Guilded Reviews se
Harlow's Pub is a great place to go for a casual meal and drink. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and the food is delicious. I especially enjoyed the fancy fries with chives and truffle mayo - they were absolutely droolable! The roasted roots salad with lemon garlic dressing was also very tasty. Overall, I had a great experience at Harlow's Pub and would definitely recommend it to others.
Harlow's Pub in Peterborough, NH for a couple pints & some delicious pub food. I had never heard of this place before, but am glad it came up while my friends & I were looking for a place to eat after we left Post & Beam Brewing. Just down the street it makes a perfect companion if you're looking for a place to sit down & eat. The place had a fun pub feel with a ton to look at all over the walls. Plenty of seating options from bar, high tops, tables & a patio area. The tap selection wasn't anything to wild, but I got a couple FIDDLEHEAD IPAs to go along with the cup of chili & excellent burger I got. Even the side of pasta salad I got was above average. Definitely a fun spot worth checking out if you're in the area. 🍻🍻🔥☘🍁 #craftbeer #newhampshireeats #supportlocal #untappd #BeerGoals #ne
we have consistently had excellent meals at Harlow's! We visit once or twice a year when we are in town for a big dance events. last night, I had salmon and it was absolutely perfect; I am quite finicky about overcooked salmon, but this was tender, juicy, and just a little bit undercooked in the middle so that the outside did not get overdone. Make a reservation on fall weekends or other busy times. Well worth it. The only non-favorable comments that I think are important for consideration are: - During busy times when the restaurant is very full, you can wait for up to 30 minutes to get your food; plan accordingly. - at least some of (?) the mixed drinks are kind of not worth it, simply because the amount of ice that is put into the glass is the maximum possible, and as a result the am
We walked in and as there wasn’t anyone around to seat us we took a table. Ten minutes later, three members of staff have stared at us, pointedly ignored us, and walked past us numerous times. Two of them even had a conversation about us, one of them pointing at us and still no one bothered to give us menus or ask for a drinks order. We got up to leave, walked past three of the staff and were ignored again. Note: it wasn’t busy: every bar stool was empty, as were several tables. One member of staff was on her phone. We went to Coopers Hill, was seated and served immediately. Friday, November 28 at 1.30pm
