Harbor Burger Shack is serving up FIRE burgers and sides! I got the Classic Harbor Burger with the fixings and my girlfriend got the Back From The Beach which had sloppy joe, tomato sauce, onion and cheese sauce and both were absolutely phenomenal and so were the sweet potato tots! I highly recommend this place if you’re in the area! Very very well priced too!
Very cute place in Kittery, Maine. Had great food and prompt service for our family of six. Everyone in the family liked what they got. . Very clean. Nice friendly staff. Definitely recommend if you like burgers and chicken 10 out of 10
A nice nostalgic burger spot that is trying to supply burgers in a shake shack way. The bu s are nice and flavors are good but burger size is lacking. With the burger being so thin there isnt much juiciness compared to many of the other things burger spots (shake shack/5guys).
Great atmosphere, vintage and interesting decor. Service wasn't bad. I called my order in and asked if burgers came with fries, was told no and given a 5-10 min time frame to pick up. When I got there and saw they had fries, the guy behind the counter was super quick to grab me 2 freshly made orders of the crinkle cut (though he didn't ask me how many orders I wanted). We ordered the Aye Aye Smokehouse burger and the Jay bird Patty Melt. Double burgers for each, which was a good idea because the burgers looked like smashburgers (thin), so the 2 together were the size of what a normal burger should be. The burgers had no char on them at all. It was almost like the griddle was overloaded and not hot enough, so they couldn't fry up nice and crisp/charred on the outside. Same with the bacon,
I really want this place to succeed—the spacious dining area has a charming, nostalgic vibe that takes me right back to the 1960s. Unfortunately, my recent visit highlighted some areas that need improvement. 1. Food quality: I ordered the classic Harbor smashed burgers, which were unfortunately overcooked with burnt edges. The onion rings were decent, but several fried items I saw going to other tables also appeared overcooked and dark. 2. Hygiene concerns: The open kitchen is visible from the dining area, and I noticed several practices that raised red flags. None of the kitchen staff wore gloves while handling food. One cook was texting on his phone between tasks, and I didn’t see anyone wash their hands during my visit. Additionally, both cooks and counter staff were eating while work
