Hanmo Tofu House

I ordered the kimchi pancake and tofu soup combo. The food came out at a reasonable time. The soup was very hot and the bowl it comes in retains heat well which is great if you like to enjoy your soup slowly. The combo also came with a mixtures of different pickled sides and a bowl of rice. The pricing was a little steep at $21 . The kimchi pancake was the best item, filled with onions and a lot of flavor. The soup was a little on the bland side but had plenty of food so it wasn't all broth. Sides and rice were good but nothing special tasting as you would expect. Combo has a lot of food - it's fine to split between two people for lunch.

Ordered online delivery, food is solid at good prices! Kimchi pancake was unique, tofu soup probably better to have in store, but still flavorful bit of spice, sweet and sour. Soft tofu texture complements the veggies

Updated Review: Stopped again to give Hanmo Tofu another try. Thanks Chris for ensuring that my order was made to my liking. I ordered the Corn Cheese, Kalbi Ribs and Pork/Kimchi Tofu Soup. The corn cheese was yummy. I loved how it was a bit crispy. The Kalbi was also delicious. Some pieces were a bit tough but overall it was tasty. The Tofu Soup was also satisfying. Next time I’ll order it a little more spicy. Overall, there was a lot of Tofu and pork meat. I love mixing it with the rice and topping it off with the ban chan. So good that I ate everything. I ordered the sundubu-jjigae with level 3 spice and a side of the LA ribs. It was delicious and scalding hot, the roof of my mouth was peeling after eating it so allow proper time to cool off if you're not OK with that. The ribs where sweet and tender. I'm not sure if it's normal but it took like 15 minutes to come out. Everyone else at the table where half way done with their meal so consider that when ordering from here. I can't wait to eat here again.

I used to go here alot. but lately they've been missing items in my takeout order. and they have decreased the amount of meat in the soup. not the same as when they newly opened. the cashiers were friendly and polite. even for take out I tip them.
