Hangry Joe's Hot Chicken & Wings

SO incredibly grateful there's a halal place nearby. Warm customer service, great food, and incredible pricing. Thank you for all the Superbowl takeout orders as well (even when you were slammed!!) ♡♡

This place is my favourite. The place is so clean and fresh. Food quality is awesome. I like these waffle fries, chicken bites. Chicjen tender was juicy even though fried. And their Hangry sauce is special one and something I'd recommend most, it's a good mix of hot and sweet. Nice and clean environment.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This was my first time trying this restaurant, and it definitely hit the spot! The food was so good and the portion sizes were much larger than I expected. The Highlights: Excellent Service: The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even gave great suggestions on the heat levels for the sauces, which was much appreciated. Fast and Efficient: I only waited about 5–10 minutes for my order, which is incredibly quick for fresh food. Delicious Chicken: I ordered the three-piece chicken tender meal at "Medium" heat. The chicken was perfectly crispy and flavorful. While it was a bit oily, the taste and crunch were excellent. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area. If you're looking for a satisfying, spicy chicken meal with generous portions, this is the place to go!

The restaurant was clean and chicken was AMAZING. We ate there on October 5th, around 7pm, and I was so surprised with how juicy yet crispy that chicken sandwich was. The coleslaw had the perfect amount of sweetness to it. I ordered the fried okra as my side and it's the best I've ever had, I'm not even kidding. My family and I were visiting from Tennessee, and we know our okra. It was a perfect dinner for that very long day of sightseeing, and I'll recommend this place to everyone who says they're coming to visit D.C.

The food was excellent! The Hot chicken has the perfect level of heat and everything was super fresh and cooked to order.
