Handel’s Ice Cream

UPDATE: I want to give credit where it’s due. After my original review about the lack of seating, the owner of this Handel’s location personally reached out to talk through the feedback. He was sincere, professional, and let me know that seating is officially on the way, which was my biggest concern from the jump. What stood out the most is that Mike is local and part of this community. You can tell he genuinely cares about the people who live here and wants this shop to be a place families enjoy. That means a lot, and it’s the kind of ownership that helps towns like Prosper grow. The ice cream has always been great — that was never the issue. I’m glad to see the customer experience catching up to the quality of the product, and I truly want this location to succeed. Looking forward to

Nice icecream but have had better icecream. This is value for money , for $5 three scoops of icecream. What ever they used to clean the store like the floor cleaning made me feel like I was in hospital.

I had a great experience today! I was greeted with enthusiasm the moment I stepped into the threshold. Upon looking at the extensive menu, I made a comment about my undecided order. Almost immediately, Ishaan and Mike started giving suggestions and also stated prepping samples. After a few preferences questions, we settled on the Mud Pie (espresso, chocolate ripple, and Oreo chunks). I had an amazing time supported by Ishaan and Mike!

Went the after dinner at home. Was excited about it. Heard great things about their ice cream. The ice cream did live up to its reputation. We ordered a 4 scoop sampler. Pistachio, Twixter, cookie dough, salty caramel. They have cones, dipped cones, waffles bowls, dipped too. Here is my gripe about the store. The menu placement is above the counter but the display is so small you can’t read what they are with the fancy name. Their menu looks simple but it was confusing cause I am not sure how to order and what were the prices. Unless you have been there many times, it was a little confusing. Wish the menu was easier to understand. The store is mostly to go or stand and eat. Would be nice to have since benches to sit. I get they are a to go kind of place but didn’t want to eat in the

Good location for this new Handel's! I went in expecting good quality ice cream and I wasn't disappointed. If the simple flavors are done right, it speaks well. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Note that as of this review, there wasn't any place to sit. Everyone was taking it to go or enjoying it in their cars. One tiny suggestion for the business: the shop could use some sound dampening. Probably due to lack of furniture, but the acoustics in there make it slightly hard to hear with the reverb. Anyway, that won't stop me from coming back! Recommended.
