I’ve hesitated to write this review, mainly because I believe it’s a waste of time and won’t have any impact on the quality of the food or the incompetent service at this establishment. They are coasting on a “best of Long Island” title that is undoubtedly solicited rather than deserved. I live close by and have frequented the shop countless times because the bagels themselves are good and it is convenient. That said, each time it is a disappointment for one reason or another. Their staff is entirely made up of teenagers who could not care less about their jobs. This is expected, but the owners literally sit on their stools and do absolutely nothing about it. Of course, iconic artwork, quirky branding, loud messaging, and clutter - as an integral part of their business approach - contributes to the charm. Take a morning walk around this block of Hillside Avenue and get wrapped in aroma of culinary magic-in-making. Best Bagels in Long Island! Bagels are always hot and fresh! Service is fast and friendly. They have the best coffee! BEC on a hot plain is my favorite! Owners are super friendly. Place is clean and recently updated. The pick up counter on the side is fast and convenient. Best Bagel Spot!

The bagel was ok but overall very disappointing. I got such a small and single thin piece of ham on my ham egg and cheese. For almost 9 dollars I honestly felt robbed. Seems like even the egg portion is extremely small. I had high hopes for this bagel shop but don't think ill be returning unfortunately.

I regularly drive two towns over just for these hand-rolled and always fresh bagels. Their ingredients are of the best quality, especially the flour (I have inquired). Their ingredients staff and owners are friendly and they give off that small town, family feel when are there as much as I am. Cream cheese is also house made and fresh with new flavors to try all the time. Totally recommend checking them out
