Hanabi Ramen

This ramen restaurant is definitely a hidden gem in the DMV. Probably one of my top three ramen shops here in the dmv! The noodles are chewy and the broth is delicious and delightful! They specialize in authentic Hakata Tonkotsu ramen! It’s Smokey and has a nice umami, anchovy flavor! Do not sleep on the other dishes here as well! You will not be disappointed! Take your time and have a seat here! The service is 5 stars! If you want outstanding Japanese food! PLEASE COME HERE IMMEDIATELY 😮‍💨 Oh and the chill oil is addictive as well ❤️

I stopped by recently to grab a bite and decided to try the beef udon noodles. I am really glad I did because the food was honestly fantastic. The broth had a rich flavor that tasted very authentic, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. It is rare to find a place that hits the mark on quality like this. The staff was also great. They were genuinely friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. It was a really pleasant experience overall, and I will definitely be coming back here again for another bowl soon

Ramen is by far my favorite Japanese restaurant. It’s a small place, but very warm and cozy—you can really feel how much care the owner puts into running it. The décor is filled with authentic Japanese touches, and the atmosphere makes you feel like you’re eating at home with family. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. The food is excellent with so many choices. Their signature dishes are the different varieties of ramen, which are always delicious. But my personal favorite is their Saba Miso Bento Box—I highly recommend trying it if you visit. Besides bento, they also serve great appetizers, udon, rice bowl, curry, and other traditional Japanese dishes. And don’t skip dessert! They have wonderful Japanese sweets like dorayaki, taiyak

Came here this past winter for a quick bowl and very much enjoyed it. The food came out super fast and the takoyaki was delicious, would definitely come back if I was in the area. Thank you for the delicious bowl!

Food: Portion sizes are good, taste is average, and plating is decent. Staff: Unfortunately, the service was a letdown. I felt subtly pressured to tip, which made me uncomfortable as a solo diner. Despite the restaurant being at a low-footfall time, I was initially asked to sit in a corner seat that I didn’t prefer. Although I was later moved to a window seat, the overall interaction left a poor impression and took away from the experience. Ambience: Cozy space by a busy street Overall: I wouldn’t visit again due to the service experience and the limited vegetarian and vegan options. The menu feels restrictive enough that repeat visits would mean ordering the same dish each time. Recommendation: Would not recommend.
