Phenomenal experience. Food was beyond stellar. 100% recommend this place. Staff was exceptional and kind. Fish melted in my mouth. Amazing quality. So fresh, and the chef gave us salmon collars on the house! They were so delicious. 💯💯💯💯💯

Finally found a great Bento box! The "Regular Bento Box W/ teriyaki" was wonderful. Very Friendly staff! Will definitly be coming back to try other things off the menu.

Food was awesome. Service was not. Our multigenerational family dined at Hana Japanese Bistro as a way to celebrate our last night together in Portland before my inlaws headed home the next day. We ordered drinks and edamame to start. Our server brought out everyone's drink but my sons root beer and no edamame. We reminded our server about the root beer and edamame when we ordered our meal. The food started coming out, we had a few more small plates, a couple of rolls, udon, the edamame came out. The food was all hot, flavored perfectly, and tasted fresh. We reminded our server a third time about the root beer and he finally brought it. Items stopped coming to the table and we were still missing my father in laws dinner (he isn't an adventurous eater so he ordered chicken teriyaki for his

Wow, really awesome experience. We were blown away by the quality of the food and the presentation. The service was so friendly. And they gifted a salmon collar (cooked perfectly) on the house.
