Came in for lunch with my aunt. We were craving authentic Korean dishes. Parking: There's a small parking lot with plenty of open spots. Ambiance/Environment: They have a small indoor space with a decent amount of seating. It's very clean inside. The tables, chairs, booths, and utensils are clean. It's a very casual and welcoming. It wasn't busy at all for a weekday. Service: We were greeted immediately when we entered. Our server was nice, attentive, and efficient. She checked on us a few times. I found a piece of hair in the vegetable wrap, and she was very apologetic and immediately came back with a new vegetable wrap. Our dishes also came out under 15 min after ordering. Food & drinks: You get complimentary tea or hot tea for the table. So delicious! The banchan was marinated to pe

Hanmi is hands down my favorite local spot for Korean food in Artesia, CA. Tucked away in a small strip mall, this cozy restaurant offers an incredible selection of delicious and comforting dishes. The flavors are consistently on point, and you can really taste the authenticity in every bite. The service is always friendly, making it a truly warm, welcoming experience every time. Whether you're craving classic Korean comfort food or trying something new, Hanmi is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Best Korean cold noodle soup (mul nang meon) : icy tangy soup with buckwheat noodles, cucumber, hard boiled egg plus a slice of Asian pear. You can customize this with more vinegar and hot mustard. Most refreshing on summer days but is served year round. Also very delicious Bossam platter: tender seasoned boiled pork belly plus vegetables to wrap them, perilla leaf, jalapeno, garlic plus a spicy oyster kimchi. Whit soybean and sesame paste cold noodle is served here. Hot soft tofu soups available as combo with barbecued LA beef rib or bulgogi.

This is a clean Korean restaurant. The remodel has made it much better. The new owner is very clean and friendly. The menu is diverse and delicious, making it a great place to enjoy authentic Korean flavors. I appreciated being able to truly experience the taste of Korea. However, it would be nice if the portion of rice could be increased to help balance the salty and spicy flavors of the main dishes. Since everyone's appetite varies, it's unfortunate that there is an additional charge for extra rice. The service is friendly, and the wait time for food is reasonable, which I appreciated. Update If you're looking for authentic Korean cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit. Known for its robust and deeply flavorful dishes, it reflects the essence of traditional Korean taste. 2024 Eats; "LA" #3, Korean #3: this was previously Gombo Wang, a Korean restaurant we'd come to for naengmyeon and mandu. During our quick visit to LA, we ate at Hanmi three times (once for lunch, once for dinner, and once via takeout). While I liked Gombo Wang, I think Hanmi is a definite improvement. The biggest improvement and my favorite thing about Hanmi is their banchan--it's delicious. Across our visits, we ordered bo ssam, nakji bokkeum, naengmyeon, buchu jeon x2, bulgogji x2, daeji bulgogi, and agu jjim (and I feel like I'm forgetting something). The bo ssam is very good, and they give you a _ton_ of food/meat. The buchu jeon was very, very good as well. Their bulgogis are much better than Chil Po (Artesia; where we previously would get bulgogi for takeout). I think for the mos
