Wonderful Mineral,Book and Presidential Artifact Collection. ( Mostly Lincoln/ Hamlin.) Maps. Located in an ancient jailhouse.
A wonderful Collection of Americana and Ephemera much of it dating back to the inception of Oxford County and Hannibal Hamlin’s/ Abraham Lincoln’s Campaign. Lots of Gems and Mineral Specimens on display. A good place to research Old Oxford County Maps, Genealogy and History. The Building was the Old Former Stone Gaol ( Jail) for Oxford County. Beautiful view of Oxford County and the Hills and Mountains from Paris Hill.

Luv the old jail now library- so great it’s still in use
Was honored to get a private tour during the 2018 Wild Blueberry Blast. Will be visiting this real piece of american history again.
