Hall House

This historic house sits in the town of Brookville, Pa. You can walk into town, take a 30 minute drive to Cook Forest to do some hiking, nearby shops or take a drive to Benezette which is less than an hour away. Arthur was a laidback host which made check in / out easy. The room was cozy with an electric fireplace and the bathroom was spacious with great water pressure. Arthur told us the next morning a light breakfast would be served in the sunroom area which was perfect to start the day. We grabbed coffee at the Drip in town before we headed out. Great place to stay.

The Hall House is located in the historic Brookville. Arthur was a great host which made it super laid back. The gold room was cozy, fireplace on and the spacious bathroom. We just loved the house. You can walk into town to grab food, coffee, close to nearby hiking spots. Not a ton of nightlife but that was okay for us. The next morning Arthur provided a light breakfast in the sunroom. Just enough to start the day. A little tip bring slippers cause if your shoes are wet he would like you to leave them at the door.

Incredible place to stay in Brookville! Walking distance to downtown and restaurants. Arthur is an incredibly nice host! Large rooms in our Garden Suite. Super comfy king bed!

From the beginning my experience with my wife and I's experience has been nothing but superb. I booked our room and got a follow up email from Arthur next day and a phone call to check on any special requests that we would have. I explained my wife and I were riding the Red Bank Valley trail the length of it and staying overnight and riding back next day for our anniversary. The day if he called to check in on us and that we were still coming and we gave arrival time and he asked us to give him a call when we arrived. After arrival he met with us and helped me store our bikes in the rear of house by garden and then showed us the house. The house was amazing and has an old world charm and we elegance. Breakfast was good and if in the area and need a place to stay you will not find a better

Our stay at Hall House was amazing!!!! What an incredible building. Arthur, the host, was just as amazing. If you have time to chat, definitely chit chat with Arthur if you see him at breakfast! He’s got some great stories and is a wealth of knowledge about the town, the Hall House, and pretty much everything. The room we stayed in (Gold Room) was beautiful, pristine, and very historical. The Hall House lobby feels like you are in a museum. There are gorgeous oil paintings covering the walls. We will definitely be back to stay at Hall House again and explore the nearby rail trail.
