HalfSauced Barbeque

First time at Half Sauced and it was the best BBQ we’ve had at the lake! Burnt ends and brisket were outstanding! Juicy and tender and full of flavor. The brisket was lean and not fatty at all! The corn pudding bread was very moist and good! The cheese fries were a steakhouse cut fry, very crispy and made to order. Sat in a booth that was very comfortable! We will definitely be returning! The service was outstanding as well!!! Spent $42 on two entrees and two beers! Great value for your money. Serving size on you pick two meats with two sides is very generous!

The service & food is really good here you will get very good sized portions. Atmosphere was relaxing & clean. However, for a BBQ place you'd expect to have multiple choices on the sauces (as for my experience all bbq places do), this one literally only has 2 choices, sweet or spicy. They don't have regular BBQ sauce. The sweet is wayyy to sweet. The spicy is like regular spice. Or you can have mustard or ketchup. So the fact they had no regular BBQ sauce ruined it for me because I went there because I wanted a BBQ saucy sandwich. Besides not even offering regular BBQ sauce the rest was fantastic.

Easily one of the finest smoked pork steaks I’ve ever eaten! My wife loved her half order of pulled pork nachos as well! Portions are great as well! Lots of bang for the buck! Would definitely eat there again!

This place is tasty!!! I was craving some bbq and my oh my this place hit the spot! The menu is exstenive and they do it well. The platter and combo plates are the best options to try more of the meats. The smoked brisket and turkey were my favorites and melt like butter. The flavor of everything was incredible. Their sides were all tasty and the spoon bread is a MUST GET. The three sauces they had were all really good as well. Mustard, sweet and spicy. The atmopshere was on theme and we were like the only ones there during the week before dinner and got our food fast. So thrilled we found this place and will be back again.

The food was just ok ,wasn't seasoned at all! The chicken wings although they were hot and fresh they could have used another like 10 mins cook time same for the turkey. cornbread concoction was good in taste it also needed another like 5 mins cook time it was wet and mushy! Let's talk about that brisket! It was so tender,melt in your mouth! Everything overall needed salt,or some sort of seasoning. If you like your food bland then ok it's definitely for you! I had green beans,bland no taste, and coleslaw bland and runny. I give this place a 5 out of 10! My husband feel the same!
