Ha'le Kiana B & B

The room was not worth the money. I would say they are false advertising because from the pictures you would think you're getting a beautiful space but this is not at all the case. The hosts are rude and snobbish. I don't think they really like surfers. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Awesome spot. Steve and Diane are great hosts and the B&B has an unbelievable view from the balcony. They gave us an outstanding recommendation for dinner, provided a very tasty breakfast and excellent coffee in the morning. It's a very nice room too and the bed is really comfortable. You've also got your own lounge area so it's far more spacious than any other B&B we've stayed at before. 10/10. Would highly recommend 👍

What can I say? The website pictures do not do this property any justice at all. Even apart from the unique sky loft, Steve and Diane’s house is an absolute jewel (I have already told them, if we ever win the lottery, we’ll send an architect round to clone their beautiful home for us!!!) Its location and views from the balconies and living room are breathtaking (with Haleakala on one side and the whole Western Maui peninsula stretching out on the other); the furniture and accessories are tasteful and there are numerous classy touches (lighting, artwork etc) everywhere. Steve and Diane could not be more charming and helpful (without ever being intrusive) and we really enjoyed our chats with them. ||As if we weren’t already in awe, we then ascended to the sky loft… what an experience! Very comfortable stay. The bedrooms offered are in a separate suite / part of the house than the owners live in, providing more privacy than your typical bed and breakfast. A lot of hang out space in the living room area and also two balconies offered to the guests who stay in the top portion, with beautful views! Great location to hit the volcano, and close to AMAZING star gazing. Dianne and Steve were great hosts and we will come back! -J and S

One of a kind experience. I asked the wife how she managed to book a night at Bill Gates place? Amenities are outstanding. All the little things are in place. The view is a postcard. We were sad to leave.
