G & Z Upcountry Bed and Breakfast

Great place to relax, go to Haleakala National Park, go to a beach, and if you bring your bikes, go for a bike ride.

My husband and I stayed three nights here at the start of our Maui trip. It was a great base for exploring the upcountry and visiting Haleakala National Park. Marsha and her husband were excellent hosts and provided good local information. It was so nice to have breakfast items supplied. This is essentially a full apartment, and it was very comfortable. I didn't think we would need the electric fireplace, but I was happy to have it for the cooler temperatures in the upcountry evenings. I would definitely stay here again.

We've spent nine days here, it feels like a botanical garden in a quiet neighborhood with spectacular host and hostess and lots to do within minutes. We especially enjoyed our hikes in the area, our wonderful breakfast before we took off for the day and a nice cool calm sunset each night. We will definitely return, you shouldn't miss this on one of your trips to Maui

Michael is a perfect host. He had everything ready for me once he knew I was going to watch the sunrise up on Haleakala (coffee, pastry, beach chair, blankets, extra jackets, bananas and water). The room was beautiful, clean and very spacious with a nice patio. The best place to stay in.

This was a little piece of paradise. The entire home was beautiful. We stayed in the blue room - which was clean, comfortable, and equipped with the perfect view for my morning coffee. Michael was a superb host with a wonderful attention for detail. Breakfast was delicious and his advice about what to do, where to eat, etc was spot on. Thank you Michael!
