Halal Bros Grill Queens Village

I was excited to get my food after ordering from UberEats. Recieved it with a small layer of meat, large amount of rice. I ordered a mixed over rice and had about 4 pieces of chicken and about 15 pieces of lamb. Are you kidding me? There are carts that serve with more meat than this. Not worth it for the price. Only thing tasty was the spicy white sauce. Never purchasing from here again - rather go on hillside ave and little neck and get more food.

This is a carry out spot. My daughter and I were in the area for the day from Boston. I needed a halal option and decided to give them a shot. No regrets. The young man and woman working were kind, professional and patient. I chose a bowl to break my fast. They asked if I wanted sauce and I said no (they seemed surprised 😆). That food did not need sauce, It was SO good, i’m very picky, so I like that I could choose my own options and customize. I got the lemon chicken breast with beets, corn, and cucumber over rice. The portion was very generous. I ate it for two days. Absolutely delicious!! if I lived in the area, I would be a regular. If I’m ever back in Queens, I will be stopping by. Highly recommend for an option on the go.

I ordered loaded jerk fries, and this is what they gave me. I asked for hot sauce and white sauce, and I got cheese sauce? No jalapenos, No, nothing on top of it. There’s barely any food in this container lmaoo. A waste of money. I remember when they used to actually give generous portions and now they’re extremely tight, not worth it won’t be ordering from here again.

Will not be returning to this location. The short guy with the ponytail went from 0 to 10 with me. He got super angry because I asked him if he can wear new gloves and provide me a new pita bread. The guy was touching the wall with his gloves and I witness him wipe his nose at the bottom of the glove and then want to touch my pita bread. I wouldn’t be writing a review if he just easily switch to new gloves and provided a new bread. Instead he got super aggressive as if he wanted to fight me. A WOMAN. It’s either misogyny or he needs anger management. Let’s see if you have the same energy when I bring my brothers.

The food is a hit or a miss with this place. Quality doesn't match the ridiculously high price. The staff who prepare the food are very unprofessional. Even the cashier gave me a dirty look while ringing me up and preparing my food, as if he didn't want to be there. I understand it's late, but if I'm being respectful and PAYING do not be hostile to me. I will not be coming back. Also, I don't like when the employees yell, laugh, or chat to drunken customers over my food. Just unprofessional and nasty. To add insult to injury, the vegetables are all mixed together because they use the same tongs for all of them.
