The only authentic Ethiopian cuisine in Cincinnati. Expect to pay about $50 for two people. Have a look at my pictures; we ordered three sets this time. They used to have different options when you chose different ingredients, and they would calculate the price later. It was still about $50-$60. Very delicious. I didn't like the lentil part; it had an old oil taste, but it was still good. A clean place, could be better. Definitely need some deep cleaning and some good styling.
Great little family operated Ethiopian spot on the west side! We stopped in on a Tuesday around six. I ordered the Doro Wot (chicken stew with a boiled egg), while my wife got the Lega Tibs with beef (a yummy dish with veggies and turmeric). Both were served traditional (family) style on injera - and both were very tasty. The food took a little time to come out, but as they say - good things come to those who wait. When we got there we were the only patrons, but by the time we left the place was getting busy. We'll be back.
No frills Ethiopian restaurant. Of the many Ethiopian restaurants I’ve been to; this one had very little options. No sambusas, no honey wine, and few options for the platter. Though the options are few; they were still delicious. I got a vegan/ vegetarian platter and all of the items were tasty.
My boyfriend and I have been coming here since we moved to the city. The food is consistently delicious. We get the doro wot, awaze tibs, and yesom beyaynetu, and we are always satisfied with it. The food is so good, and the enjera soaked with all the flavor is a delicious way to end the meal. I recommend anyone stop by
I’m disappointed because I was super excited to support a small family business. BUT I was charged 20.79$ when I ordered a dish for 13.99 and a drink for 1.99 and there’s no way the rest was tax. It was also a to go order. Really disappointed. And the vegan dish barely had filling in it mostly just the injera bread.
