This place was very good. First of all, I liked the ambience. I liked the lighting, the decor, and the artwork. It was very relaxing. I also liked the music and It was very clean. The food was good, but it could’ve been better. We ordered the cordon blue balls, which were extremely cold inside. Like they had just come out of the freezer. But they were very kind and gracious, and they redid them and brought them back. What was exceptional, was the service. We had two very sweet waitresses that took excellent care of us. Great service can make up for not so great food. The Cuban sandwich was huge. But I’ve had it many times before in Miami, where it has been more tasty. It could be improved, but I’m not sure how. Maybe it didn’t have enough mustard?? More pickles? The minced b
This place has the most authentic Cuban food in DFW , I been there a few times and every time I’m very satisfied with the food! Everything is delicious and fresh, they prepare it as you order it! My favorite so far is the Rabo Encendido( oxtail) another one of my favorites is the roasted leg , and the Pargo Frito (fried red snapper) the drinks are amazing too my favorite is the mojito and off course you must try their coffee and desert! The service is amazing and restaurant is pretty nice with a beautiful decor and pretty clean!
Best Cuban food I have ever had in DFW. Kind of in a sketch area but worth the drive. Be warned they don't speak much English but they do have an English menu.
Unfortunately, I didn’t like this place at all. It was the first time I went and it will be the last. The food was not good, we grabbed some Cuban croquettes that did not taste like ham however they had a dark color as if it were beans with pure flour, I ordered a Uruguayan steak that should be stuffed with ham and cheese, the cheese did not appear anywhere, the ham did not taste good and the pork meat was thinner than the thickness of a fork, the fried ripe bananas were too ripe to the point that you could taste that they had already be disposed of in the trash. We were 6 people and the bill was high but the truth was a disappointment this place, in addition to the fact that it is very expensive!!!!
Ropa Vieja was the bomb. Rice was cooked perfectly, but the plantains were a little dry. This place is so legit I have to use my Google Translate to speak with our server. Thankfully, I know enough restaurant Spanish that it wasn't hard to order. Our kids don't eat anything but pizza and chicken nuggets, so it's exciting that they have pizza on their menu to satisfy them. 😋
