H-E-B Bakery

Great bakery with quality goods. Got a key lime pie to celebrate a personal milestone and it's so good and so rich we're struggling to finish it between two grown women even two days later. It has kept well too. We often get white bread rolls, French loaf and rolls from here and we always appreciate the quality and value.

I am SUPER angry with them today. I placed a cake order in store for a gender reveal on 9/15/25 to pick up for today 9/19/25. I specifically told the lady that the baby is a BOY, and to put BLUE ICING inside of the cake, which she stated was something they could do , she even gave me her number and I sent her a picture of what i wanted and a message stating that the baby is a boy so that they wouldnt forget. I came today to pick up the cake, and I even asked them to MAKE SURE that the reveal was inside the cake because I HAVE my ENTIRE family here at home. GUESS WHAT???? there was NO reveal in the cake and it is BEYOND EMBARRASING FOR ME TO HAVE MY WHOLE FAMILY SEE THAT!!!!! I spent a whole week preparing for this party and now it's ruined. They always have delicious food . We enjoy their little cake slices . They have a wide variety of baked goods . They have many varieties of cake , cheesecake. Red velvet etc . They have cupcakes which at times are holiday based . There are also pies . They are always delicious. I would recommend this bakery for anniversaries, birthdays and school parties.

This visit wasn't the best one, the assistant was packing my groceries forget an item, when he was doing it another associate come and started talking with him and helping with the packing, we'll any of them was putting attention on their job, I get home and find out i was missing the bread, looks like not a big deal but I have a child that he woke up at 5:00 a.m. and need he's breakfast. (Spectrum)He does not understand why we don't have bread , so I know I need to go back, talk to a manager and I expected to go get the bread and bring it to me, but no! he told me to go and get the bread and bring it to him so he can put it in a bag for me, not even apologize, another employee (cashier)see that he was putting the bread in the bag and told him oh here is a loaf the same bread, I look

I love H‑E‑B but I’d never buy from this bakery again. We ordered a cake on my sons first birthday and we ordered a week ahead. My pickup time was set for 2 pm but I called at 10 in the morning and after waiting on hold for 5 minutes and being transferred to multiple people they realized no on input the order. When I received my cake it looked like they didn’t refrigerate it. I wish I had bought from another place, but I agree they have good bread.
