Gyro Wrap

While I had low expectations at first when I ordered, when I got the gyro I was blown away. It was very good and they packed it with meat and didn't skimp. Would recommend 100%.

I grew up in Athens and loved Gyro Wrap when I was in high school and college in the 1980's. I'm so happy they have reopened as their food brings back great memories for me! My sincere thanks go to whoever decided to reopen it. My last day of undergraduate school at UGA, my Mom (who worked on the UGA campus) offered to buy me lunch. I chose Gyro Wrap and my only disappointment was that I graduated at the age of 20 and they carded me when I tried to order a beer. I will always remember that. Today, the food is very good, and as I remember it. Their service is fast and friendly, and the prices are in line with other downtown Athens eateries. Please give it a try, I love it!

I used to work at a gyro wraps years ago, and loved the food. It's where I discovered gyros and fell in love with them... However, this place while good enough, isn't the place I once worked at. I go to a local pizza place to get my gyros currently, and will probably be sticking with that. The staff were very quiet and polite, very professional. I appreciate the polite at least. :)

Got the GW salad and it was fantastic. Never had gyro on a salad before, but hope to do so again because it was terrific!
