Gusano's Chicago Style Pizzeria

I've read a lot of great reviews about Gusanos and thought I'd try it out. Well, this is my first and last time eating here. To keep this short, the bread sticks were falling apart, the cookie sticks were burnt, and there was a hair cooked into my pizza. I've provided pictures as proof. My boyfriend called the restaurant to get a refund on the pizza (we hadn't figured out the rest of the food situation until later) but since it was placed through Door Dash and picked up in person I have to deal with Door Dash now because "We can't do anything on our end." This all happened about 2 hours ago and I'm really hoping we can get a refund because this is just sad. I normally don't pay $65 for disappointment but here we are. Update: I never heard back from the manager who said he'd give me a call

This place is amazing! The pizza is homemade and so fresh—you can really taste the difference. The 13-inch is perfect for sharing with one other person, and it came out super quick and hot. It’s definitely my new favorite spot!

We’ve been long term customers of Gusano’s and love their pizza! But tonight when our delivery was short a pizza, they resent the entire order for free (multiple pizzas and breadsticks). On Super Bowl Sunday! Great customer service.

We brought a group of about 50 people into Gusano’s in Steamboat, and they absolutely crushed it! From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch—and a huge shoutout to Michelle at the bar. She handled the crowd like a total pro, kept the drinks flowing, and somehow managed it all with a great attitude and a big smile. The deep dish pizza was incredible—perfectly cheesy, crispy, and packed with flavor. Gusano’s nailed it on both the food and the hospitality, even with such a large group. Highly recommend stopping in whether you’re solo, with friends, or rolling 50 deep like we did. Huge thanks to Michelle and the entire team for making it such a great experience!

The two pizzas we've tried, the Cheeseburger and the Lasagna (forgot the real name), were excellent. My son's Chicken Alfredo was "okay, but not great" (direct quote). The service was decent, but the kitchen made two errors on our order for eight people. The server was apologetic and kept us up-to-date on the rest of the order. Still, it won't keep us from returning.
