Gumita's Trattoria Pizzeria

We haven’t been here since it was the old Rizvani’s. Food was delicious! I had the chicken Edgar with a chicken breast, shrimp, mushrooms, peppers and olives over pasta. Soooo good. My husband had Veal Saltimbocca. Tender and delicious. Plus your choice of soup or salad plus homemade bread! And it’s BYOB too! Our server, Jenn, was attentive and pleasant. We will definitely be back!

The food is top notch, the bread is the best ever! I live in Woodbury and take the drive weekly to pick up bread and slices! I have yet to have dinner, the food always looks delicious and fresh!

This was such a wonderful surprise. After coming to Rizavani for years very disappointed when the other owner took over, but now Gumita was trained by Mr. Rizvani and it's marvelous again. The food was stellar the portions are huge the bread is nice and warm and you have the option to bring your favorite wine. He literally is there to please us, you have to stop in. We ordered the apps and no one would let me take photos because it smelled so good so that's half what came out. We are so happy to have a great local Italian restaurant with the best pasta fagioli around reminded us of my Sicilian mother's.

Holy smokes look at this steak plate is $23.00 on a Saturday night. That's crazy!!! So tender for a 20 Oz. 2 inch New York strip steak. NUTS! My wife had the cavalette with shrimp and broccoli Rabe Alfredo with sausage. I ate most of hers too. You have to come in. Look at these pictures.
